Movies

Samantha is still on school holiday for another week so time for the mom genes to kick in and find stuff for us to do.  Lucky for me there was actually an animated film playing at the theater.  So today Emily stayed with Renu while Samantha and I went to the movies.  I can't tell you how long it has been since I went to the movies.  At least a year, no lie.  Anyway we saw UP.  It was pretty cute.  I am not sure Samantha "got it" but she loved the popcorn anyway.

The theater experience here is pretty cool.  We went to the Signature Theater which offers luxury benefits.  The first difference was when I purchased our tickets they showed me a map of the theater and all the open seats.  So I got to pick our seats.  No fumbling around in the dark trying to get a good one.  Then the next difference is the seat itself.  You can tell from the picture that they are NICE.  Two seats together so no big butt neighbors.  The other big thing here is caramel popcorn, which seems to be at all the mall kiosks and the theater too. Although tempting we went with the classic - salted.  One thing that is the same unfortunately is previews.  Not only for other movies but condos, food, etc.  Oh the commercialism. 

All of the above luxuries are in the Signature Class but there is also a Gold Class.  Kyle and I need to plan a date for that.  Supposedly they have big recliners and they take orders for drinks (even alcoholic) and snacks.  Stay tuned.
