Bye Bye Curls

Big girl Emily had her first haircut the other day. I hated to cut off her pretty curls but it needed a little shaping. Luckily she still has some left. She sat right up and did great. The girly salon and feathers around the mirror probably helped.

Emily's First Day

Emily started at The Children's House school this week. It the same school that Samantha started at here in KL. Luckily Emily had been there many times to pick up and drop off sister so she was familiar with the place and the Aunties. We pull up the first day and she gets right out the car, drags her "pack pack" to the gate, and she is off. She sat right down at the play dough table with the other children and did not look back.

At pick she was excited to see me but still did not want to leave. So many things to do and see there. I think she is a handful for them right now because she doesn't quite have the attention span of the other children. They tell me that will come with age and once she settles into the routine. It will be nice to have another set of adults trying to teach her manners. They told me she especially loves playing in the garden, of course because they have swings!
