Wendell and Sharon went home this week after a great trip starting here in KL then to Australia, New Zealand and back to KL. The girls miss this already. While they were here we explored some more of KL. We went back to Chinatown, to Central Market, The Kraft Komplex, The Bread Shop (our local bakery, yumm), many nice dinners, lots of trips to the pool, escorting Samantha to gymnastics and helping host Emily's play groups.
Here are some pictures of brave Sharon. While at the Central Market she had a fish pedicure. Yep, you read that right. The fishes nibble all the dead skin off your feet.
I also posted some pictures of our trip to the KL Aquaria and Disney on Ice. We let Samantha "skip" school and took both girls to see the fish. It is a smaller aquarium but we sat right in front of the main tank while two divers fed the fish, sharks, sting rays and turtles. Both girls were captivated. Emily sat still for almost 30 minutes, which is a nearly impossible. The next day we invited Renu (our maid) and her son Augus to join us for Disney on Ice. Samantha and Augus love to play together and both enjoyed the show.
It was such a nice visit.
